Injera

I have such a great feeling for this band. We’ve been together a while, and with the ups and downs we have come out of the “compromising” era and have come though to the “everyone is satisfied muchly” era. Even though my dad has amazing recording facilities, he still suggests we go to a recording studio for the day, to make it absolutely perfect and wonderful, which it would be.

It’s always been very tedious recording at my house. Upstairs where all the kit is, its really really cramped. Downstairs, lost of room - but not all the kit, so we have to do the recording in some bizzarre way, that doesn’t work. And of course, (apart from this sentence starting with “and”) the electric drum kit Dom is using is very difficult to set up with the machines, it doesn’t sound as good, and Dom finds it difficult to play.

SO. I reckon we should go with what dad says, all chip in £45 and do some hardcore recording. The only thing is, I still need to find time to write some lyrics and get the bloody structures of my songs finished. But when they are, they will be lovely and diabolical :)

And of course, we will sell this album through and online indie store on a website I’m currently designing (oh yes, this is going quite serious) - and privately at school as well (which will contain the photos and actually have a physical presence), and might even make a small profit.

I also am still writing more, and better songs. So you know, we might not have many gaps between albums :D

Its looking quite nice and in motion.

My naivety is probably getting the better of me, but I don’t see why I couldn’t go on for a lot longer with this band. I’m certainly not in a hurry to leave.
