Rant + How to make the most of now
Don’t you just hate it when you’ve been out with one of your parents/siblings, and you have a (semi) argument, and they go in and tell the other parent half of the story and make you sound unreasonable, but if you try to argue back they blame it on you being an argumentative, hormone-ridden teenage old boy. Bloody infuriating.
I have more homework which, as it usually does, made me think about what a massive waste of time it is. If it was interesting, or useful, then I wouldn’t mind. Well yeah I’ve already ranted about that, I just summed up that this part of my life wold be perfect if:
- I had regular, brilliant gigs
- A decent girl
- Less work
- More time
So, for point one. This is the main part and this can only be achieved by the third and last point, and I need to make more contacts e.g. The Man On The Moon pub, finding a support act slot with a band like How To Kill A Conversation. Point two. I have an eye on one, but its stupid really because I rarely talk to them, so I need point 3 and 4 to make any improvement on that. Point 3. Time work right, do it when nothing else could possibly happen except watching Tv, so no more weekend homework whatsoever. Point 4. Basically it is point 3, but just to add to it, I need to make more of the time I do have, then it might feel like more time.
So to concludement:
- Find more gigs + contacts, and to start, find HTKAConvo and ask for a support slot at TMOTMoon
- Make time, talk more.
- No more weekend homework + time all other work perfectly for things where nothing else could happen
- Make most of the time I have
Easy… right?
